Kieran Drakard

My interest in cars and driving began in my early teens whilst helping my Dad with his hobby of restoring classic Jaguars. So after many years of working in the hospitality industry it seemed a very natural thing to combine my skills in training and developing staff with my old hobby and qualify to be a driving instructor.

I’ve now been teaching since 2011 and over this time have developed a pupil oriented style, working to pupil’s strengths to help them achieve their own personal goals. I have a calm and patient teaching style which means I’m often recommended to people who might struggle with learning to drive, for example due to anxiety, learning or developmental disorders.

Personal interests: In my off time I enjoy biking and spending time with my family, including my four legged pal Eddie – if you’re lucky you might even see him on a lesson!
